Although the training is not required, having your food handler card will provide quick demonstration of knowledge to any food safety inspector.
Upon completion of the course, you can print a food handler certificate from Professional Server Certification Corp. You will also receive a food handler card in the mail within 2 to 3 weeks.

Then, after a two day set up, you can schedule your exam, go in and sit with the proctor to take the test. You can fax or email your results to us, and PSCC generates your certificate, and notifies the state of SD, you will be recorded in the state database as a certified Food Manager.
